Appointment Options That Fit YOUR Schedule.

Appointment Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Dr. Dahlin is happy to accommodate appointments before or after standard office hours by patient request, when capable, including early morning or evening appointments. Patients are encouraged to call at anytime if there is an urgent situation pertaining to the lower extremity, as it is his privilege and pleasure to render assistance if and when available.

At Colorado Foot & Ankle Wellness, patients come first.

COFAW offers a variety of appointment types to fit your schedule. For appointments that do not require specialized medical equipment, patients have the option of scheduling an office visit, telemedicine appointment, or house call.

Appointment Types

  • In-Office

For patients requiring x-rays or medical procedures, an in-office visit is the recommended appointment type. Accommodations can be made to have x-rays taken at a later time if a telemedicine or house call appointment is more convenient.

  • Telemedicine

Available at the same price as in-office appointments. Complimentary X-rays are provided at patient’s next in-office follow-up appointment (if needed), or at a future date more convenient for the patient.

  • House Calls

Available at the same rate as in-office appointments, plus a convenience fee of $50 for locations from Palisade to Fruita, Colorado. (House calls made to care facilities in the Grand Valley are not charged the $50 fee). Pricing for more distant locations such as Delta, Montrose, Ridgeway, Ouray, Telluride, Glenwood Springs, Moab, and other surrounding areas can be discussed at the time of appointment creation.

Initial Visits & Follow-up Appointments

  • Standard Initial Patient Visit with X-rays

    90 Minutes | $500

Includes x-rays of both feet & ankles (bilateral weight bearing foot and ankle), thorough history, comprehensive exam, x-ray review, diagnosis, and tailored effective treatment plan.

  • Abbreviated Initial Patient Visit (No X-rays)

    60 Minutes | $350

Does not include x-rays. Includes problem focused history and physical exam.

While X-rays are not always necessary for initial visits, Dr. Dahlin strongly recommends X-rays of both feet and ankles at initial visits regardless of initial complaint, as this can ensure the highest quality care moving forward if/when the need for comparison X-rays arises down the road.

  • Consultation & Common Foot Care (No X-rays)

    30 Minutes | $200

This appointment option consists of a 30-minute initial patient consultation and thorough foot/ankle examination including a vascular evaluation, neurological evaluation, and foot structure analysis. It is offered specifically for patients seeking medical care related only to nail fungus, ingrown nails, warts, diabetic exams, or nail and callus care. Nail and callus care are included at the time of examination and do not require a separate appointment.

  • Standard Follow-Up Appointment

    40 minutes | $200

Thorough conversation and evaluation with the patient including effectiveness of treatment plan, improvement of condition, and any modifications/augmentations in treatments moving forward.  When needed, X-rays will be obtained and reviewed during this appointment as well.

  • Extended Follow-Up Appointment

    60 Minutes | $300

Recommended for patients that are previously established at Colorado Foot & Ankle Wellness but are presenting with a new condition and have not been seen in some time.  This appointment is also recommended for patients that have multiple conditions being treated or patients who have more complicated and unique issues which require more time and consideration to ensure efficient and effective care.  When needed, X-rays will be obtained and reviewed during this appointment as well.

The clinic is designed to provide foot and ankle care to the homeless and individuals struggling to access quality medical services promptly, regardless of insurance or financial constraints.
