Dr. Dahlin’s Foot & Ankle Care Philosophy

“If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.”

“If it doesn’t hurt, don’t mess with it.”

— Dr. Dahlin

These are common and favorite sayings of Dr. Dahlin, when appropriate. While he enjoys being in the operating room providing surgical care, he understands that most conditions can be successfully treated conservatively and prefers to utilize and exhaust such modalities before proceeding to the operating room, since this would be his own preference if he were the patient.

He attempts to treat his patients as family and friends, as he has found this tends to elevate the quality and enjoyment of care for both himself and patients alike. While some conditions can be diagnosed and treated quickly, Dr. Dahlin prefers to take his time with patients and listen. This develops a healthy doctor-patient relationship and can help reveal more challenging and rare conditions, ultimately resulting in a better experience and quality of care. He truly enjoys and embraces providing medical care to his patients, as it is a blessing and privilege to do so.
